I actually think this song is really good for Selena's range. She isn't a soprano, though her managers try to make her be one, and that's why everyone thinks she can't sing. And these aren't bad vocals at all. They're a great improvement from other live vocals like Slow Down and Love You Like a Love Song. Good job, Sel :)

I think that it doesn't sound terrible, it's just the song isn't meant for someone with Selena's type of voice, I mean listen when she tries to sing the word Royals. It just doesn't work. And Lorde is so amazing at singing her own song (duh) that anyone would tear apart anyone else famous that tried to sing it. I don't hate Selena's version I just don't think anyone can even come close to being as good as Lorde is at singing her own song.
