I'm 13 and I got diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stage 5 which is the last stage and I'm on dialysis at the moment.Also I'm on the way to get a kidney transplant so with this disease I can't drink that much only 600ml a day but now 500ml and seeing all the young children suffering at hospital makes me think that you shouldn't take your health for granted because you never know when God or your body decides to turn on you

Oh my god. Their description of the functions of the kidney... Kidneys are SOO important. And yes while you can live with one functioning kidney, you have to be quite careful in taking care of it or else you could end up needing haemodialysis multiples times a weeks and develop a whole bunch of other serious organ problems.

With transplants, scarring is not the most important factor the surgeon focuses on after surgery, the most important thing is focusing on cleaning the scar and postoperative infection prevention, so unfortunately, scars are pretty normal from surgery. At least abdominally.

Tiff, I felt that dehydration pain before as well. Its bad because it happened to me while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. I am bad at making myself drink water and it happened twice where I experienced that pain. Luckily I read a weird thread on a random site where a woman mentioned this happening to her while she was pregnant so I figured it out. The pain was so bad the second time that it scared me and I almost called 911. I make sure to stay very hydrated now *sips water
