This song is sad. Ricky wrote this song for Suzette, Selena's sister, he was in love with her, but never told her. He wrote this song after Suzette got married. I never knew that but just watched it on the series.

Selena, was also an inspiriting fashion designer. I assume, she designed her doll vestido (dress). The song is a classic, about a lover that implorers his/her lover to come back, to forget the past, because the sky is red (it's sad) without them. When he/she goes to bed, he/she dreams with them and the sky is blue (happiness), then awakens and the sky is red, "I'm missing you"..
