Great tip video. I'm glad you changed the broken lug stem. Makes you wonder how a 7 year old vehicle can have a broken stem?

Man i've fought with self adjuster brakes so many times. I also never thought of a spark plug plier set to collapse the outer ring of the cable. I always fight with a screwdriver and normal pliers to spin the outer end of the cable around so one of the 2 tabs is in the outer slot and then the other is just pushed in with a screwdriver then I slide it back out. Total pain in the butt but it worked for me.

You Should have used a smooth jaw or fuel line clamp to show how to do it,for the people who love to over clamp the (vicegrips) witch cuts the plastic on the cable.

If people are having trouble with that I can only imagine how much trouble they'd have with the P brake cable on a drum brake. Of course most of them have probably never seen a drum brake before.

Tip I need to know players still wear for the rubber hose on the end of them. It doesn’t crush your cable.

What's the fix if, say, you DID manhandle it til it became "out of whack" and the pedal now does nothing? 🫢 Just in case......
@WrenchingWithKenny
@WrenchingWithKenny 4 ай бұрын
It depends on the vehicle. There are certain procedures that can "reset" the pedal or handle .
