I agree that this is super important, and since you work basically two jobs, one of them being for yourself, i think it's great you're trying to do set hours. Because with a typical job you have time after work, and then my schedule is weird, im off Fridays, half day Saturday, and then Sundays. Friday is my errands, laundry, etc because it's a business day. Saturday's feel short. Sunday is my day that's basically fun/resting and relaxation more than anything else.

Thank you for teaching me that cleaning is also a part of self care. I have such a different approach to it now, that it’s not a thing that needs to end soon to feel better but I can feel good even while doing it

Hailey, I watch your new kinda videos about getting your life on track, or whatever you prefer to call it….I have a very similar period in my life now…I thought I’m the only one ( how naive, I know) that I’m the only one have such fears and struggles….what you are going through, resonates so much with me !! Sending you hugs and love ! And please know you are not alone ! ❤❤🌹🌹

Hailey, you're inspiring me so much to do better with myself, to make better decisions for the future me. I struggle a lot with creating new habits, specially healthier ones. Consistency has been MIA, not gonna lie 😅 but these videos are so beautiful and make me really reflect on my routines and what I could change and could work. Thank you for being here and sharing a bit of your life with us 💚

My favourite way of self care is every Sunday evening I will have a bath, and listen to Early 2000ths music. I call it my 2000ths Bath

Taking some time off is much-needed and so non-negotiable. Saturday and Sunday are sacrosanct and all we need to do is to rest, recharge, and unwind from all the toils and torture from work. I love your videos lately and it's been so calming, therapeutic, and healing. Keep it up and I really appreciate your lovely videos. Have a great day :)

I love guided meditations. I've been getting into them as well and guided ones are a major help.

I struggle with keeping my mind clear when meditating and use to think I stink at meditating. But then I heard someone say that the point of meditating is to practice reigning your thoughts in instead of them running wild like usual and that made me feel better about my meditation practice. So I would say your mind drifting and you pull your focus back to the meditation is the point! ❤

I'm curious if you ever go through phases where you use notion and then you find yourself switching back to a different version of planning? I use notion for a couple months but then always go back to digital planning and keep yo-yoing forever. Any advice for staying consistent?

Hey Sweet Girl! I have ADHD just like you and I recognize so many of your struggles. Like I can burn myself out really well too. And I am always stuggling to accept and appreciatie what I did do and I am often disappointed just because I didn't get to finish something or cross off more things from my to do list. But at the same time, I know I should take it easy sometimes, because otherwise I do get burnt out. I love that you share all of this! I just always feel like everything is taking me way more time than other people! Do you recognize this as well, or no? Or maybe other people here in the comments do?? Again, thank you so much for sharing this! And I truly love your vlogs, I literally have seen every single one! Edit: typo because English is not my main language.

Hellllo! People with ADHD generally struggle with time blindness, which is really what you are describing! I'd recommend you do some research on that and it might help you understand it a bit more 💜 Learning more about it has been a huge help for me!
@DaniqueEmiliaSteinfeld Жыл бұрын
@@HaileyinBookland Thank you so much for replying!! I have heard about that (time-blindness). I will look further into it, because I don't know how to change it. But it's really helpfull to see how you deal with those kinda things, so thank you very much for that. And also: I just love your vlogs and other video's (but I think I already said that)! 😄
