Thanks fo putting a vid out there. I would have liked to hear some extension of pre-emptive actions one could take if one thinks they may have been selected. By pre-emptive I mean anything prior to suspect actively attacking such as maybe go someplace with people, change direction to see if they are stalking, prep a weapon, etc. As far as the technique demonstrated, I feel an important aspect was missed which is that the defender needs to move forward (burst in) as the strike starts to catch the arm. As demonstrated, if it weren't blocked, the strike appeared like the bottom few inches above the hand is what would have hit. This mean't that the hand/arm were closer to the defender than if the person striking was intending to hit with the last couple inches of the club. Especially if it was something longer like a baseball bat. in the repeat with the attacker further away, it was actually the attacker closing and once again the defender didn't have to move much to get to the hand/arm.
