How thin do you get if once its deflated? Looking to do something similar to leave a mattress in a roof top tent.

Approximately 40mm max .i measured it in its rolled up state off the edge most likely less if left out flat

@@whatsdergo good stuff, and that was a fatmat 1500 right? So a 15cm thick mat? I'm hoping to do the same with a tentworld slumbermat 1500 twin.

Nice demo. Do you know if Dewalt also has a similar tool available?

HI they do have a blower, but my aeg blower suited the mattress inflating and deflating valve perfect looking at pictures on the net the dewalt dosent look like it would suit

@@whatsdergo also do you like the Oztrail 3d fatmat 1500 for camping as we are looking at purchasing an self inflating air matress and the 150mm thickness sounds good.

@@techwhizard Yes the Oztrail fatmat is very comfortable but be warned if you don't have something to vacuum it down its very difficult and exhausting to role it up by hand .Also i got from Amazon au a Zinus Smartbase Queen Bed Base Frame Foldable Premium Metal Heavy Duty Steel - Folding Bed Platform Mattress Foundation for $149 Makes it so much better getting in and out of bed as im not so young anymore and the wife loves it.

@@whatsdergo Thanks. Did you not like the oztrails own foldable stretcher option for there matress compared to the Zinus. Also does the Dewalt DCV100-XE blower tool available in NZ looks the same as your AEG as I am thinking this should work with the 40mm PVC coupler?

@@techwhizardi personally don't like stretchers because they sag and the double stretcher sags both sides and have a rigid bar down the center, i like a flat bed. Go to bunnings and test out what fits on the dewalt before you buy .
