I thought of you this morning when I read the at risk peeps. Bloody nightmare. Thing is, this won’t last for ever, so I’m thinking how can I use this time so when we come out the other end some things are better than they were when we went in. So for me I’m going to have more time to do gardening so my garden will look amazing. I’m going to do walks in the evening on weekdays coz I’m wfh so finish work earlier. Maybe you could do more outdoors stuff than you would have done. Overnighters on weekdays when it’s more quiet. Practice outdoor skills that take a long time to learn, more time than you have had up until now. You could make loads of vids! 😄 I’m trying to think...we should try to turn all of this into a positive. Not easy I know. Don’t know what else to do though. Keep making the vids mate. There’s a virtual gang of nutters out here who will be sat alongside you all the way! ATB, Mark 👍

Main thing is you smiled at the end pal. your'e doing the right thing by self isolating. it is a strange climate we live in right now and just like wars, it brings out the best and worst in people. your'e a brave bloke going through this and not being afraid to show emotion. i admire that, i had a little tear in my eye when you started crying, bless ya, if i could give you a friendly man hug (no homo lol) i would but of course people are having to avoid all physical contact at the mo. keep making videos during this cos it'll help keep you connected to people and keep getting outside. think of those 2 things as mental therapy. stay strong mate, you'll get through this. you know where to find me if you fancy a chat. atb Tom.

Keep strong. I really don't think any of us can really get our heads around what is going on at the moment. It actually feels like a really bad dream. Life has changed completely in a very short time. It's scary. For the past few weeks I have been doing retail security work instead of windfarms because of panic buying, we are in the process of shutting down completely here in Ireland. Are they right???? Honestly I don't know. Personally I am glad to have the outdoors as an outlet but it is going to be difficult and very different. The poor dog is getting walked a lot more now. In your situation I cannot even imagine what is going through your mind. The only thing I can suggest is that it's not your fault and that it is for your own good. When all this blows over, and it will, we will all come back from this stronger....... I hope. Stay safe Alan.

Don't beat yourself up about it mate, I'm sure this crap will blow over soon. I'm possibly working from home as of tomorrow because I've been classed as high risk due to my asthma. But considering the nature of work I do it may not be possible and I may be stuck with nothing to do. So on that note feel free to have a chat with me online or over the phone whenever mate 👍

The oncologists instruction has forced you to face your true situation as you have been robbed of the cozy routine of work etc. We were brought up to swallow everything down, not complain and just 'get on with it' but the time always comes when you have to process the painful crap. All I can say is 'I know where you're coming from, and depression is almost a done deal' You WILL get through this, when your head puts all the ducks in a line is the time to focus on becoming the master of your situation not it's servant. You know my number, wish I could say pop round for a bacon butty but nit an option at this time. Lots of sincere love and prayers for you, Mo xx ❤️🙏🏼

What you got to think about is that while yes you feel fit and able and can probably do the job, how do you think your colleagues would feel if they passed the virus onto you and it sent you south. Take it for the blessing it is get some much needed rest and keep these videos coming brother.

Hi JB. With everything going on, I've only just managed to sit down in the last day or two to watch some KZbin. I'm sorry I've not been able to watch your recent uploads (including this one) sooner. You are such a decent, honest and straight-talking bloke. But you're only human and there's only so much a human can take. I'm so sorry mate that you're having to change your life so dramatically. Wow, got me all misty eyed too there. My health over the years has turned me into a bit of a hermit but even I struggled when I had to do a non my health or my choice isolation period (and I don't go out very often even in normal times), I really feel for people that are used to being social during this time, I think your ability to be open and honest about your struggles will help a lot of people who can relate to how you were feeling when you made this because even when you feel alone, you're not really alone, just apart. I followed the link to this from your show us your brew vid, I''m so glad you are still getting out and drinking up that beautiful medication that is nature. For those of us that can't always get out vids like yours are nature by proxy, thank you for that, from people like me :)

Tough times mate, when going through something like chemo things like work and socialising take your mind of it. Chin up mate at least you can still go to the woods, i suppose thats still isolating as you are not around people.
