Great video I used Mapei skim coat product to fix an imperfection in my sub floor before installing lvp flooring. Product worked great lesson learned I added ice to the water to get The temperature down it gave me additional working time to skim the floor area

Thanks. The ice sounds interesting because the working time is so important.

What ratio water : mapei are you using to stay at the high-flow consistency? Following the package is a bit thicker than what you’ve shown here. Just curious

Hi, Have you installed a Republic Pure SPC? I am considering on installing that in my 1700 sqft home. Thanks

No, I've never installed this brand. I did a little research on the brand and found some negative reviews. It seems like people had issues with product quality and then customer service. I didn't dig that deep yet. Did you see this product in a store or online ?

@@JonesKnows saw it in person, the pure spc feels pretty good, but the embossing or texture doesn’t match the picture. When I see a knot from their oak design I was expecting the outline but it’s just straight lines. I also tried to snap the tongue and it’s pretty sturdy.

When you look across the floor once it's installed those are the type of things you will notice.
