Yaay! I was sooo hoping for a video just like this. thank you! I made a self tanning,firming lotion, but I would love to try this mousse form. Everyone says it's better, so now I've been very curious to see what the fuss was all about.

Yes, you can add a color. I suggest one of these: www.makingcosmetics.com/Organic-Dry-Colors_c_35.html. But use only very little (e.g. 0.2-0.5%)

How do you know the measurement that your are pouring. I mean I know you're a professional but how does an amateur know... Also what type of scale are you using.

In order to pour the right amount of an ingredient into the beaker, the beaker is placed on a scale where you can read off the exact amount in grams.

Would it be possible to add a green, or blue to this tanner? So that it has an olive tone to it? And if so what would you use? Great Work !! Ty for sharing this with us all.

Thank you! You can add yellow no 5 this will turn it into more of a brown-green color. If you omit the d&c red and just use caramel the color will be a cool walnut yellowish brown, with no red undertone. Try to avoid any iron oxide colors as they interfere with the tanning ingredients. A small amount of blue mica may help to change the color to a cool undertone but it's not a strong colorant, and may just change it slightly.
