Self Tolerance and Microbe Triggered Autoimmunity (B Cell Focus)
We have been discussing the autoantibodies or anti-idiotype antibodies for a few days. A frequent question was that how does the immune system start attacking our own tissue while it was not doing so before the COVID infection or a Spike protein vaccine. Let's build our understanding of these mechanisms.

Page 350. B cell tolerance. A beautiful mechanism of B cell receptor editing.
Page 351. B cell deletion by an unknown mechanism.
Normal mechanism is B cell anergy in the presence of abundant antigen from all sides of the immature B cell.
Immunologic tolerance is defined as unresponsiveness to an antigen that is induced by exposure to that antigen. The term arose from the experimental observation that animals that had encountered an antigen under particular conditions would not respond to, that is, would tolerate, subsequent exposures to the same antigen.

I love how the cells have personalities and emotions. 😆 it makes it so easy to understand.

Now we understand what Autoimmunity actually is, it is Triggered by Microbes, but before this, Autoimmunity was portrayed by doctors as our immune system attacking itself without any reason, nothing happens without reason. Thanks Dr. been for bringing this information to our attention, peace and love.

Hi Dr Been - I would love to hear you interview some Functional/Integrative MDs regarding how they are helping their patients heal from autoimmune issues without using long term immunosuppressive drugs. The topic of how lyme and confections and mycotoxins can result in autoimmunity would also be helpful. Maybe you could interview Terry Wahls MD?

Hey Dr Been - anychance you can look at the studies and papers that purport that bi-carbonate of soda can stop auto immune responses? I would really like your opinion.

Dr Been is brilliant & we are awaiting his answer. BTW - the amount of hydroxychloroquine in the bi-carbonated soda is so small. U doubted it would work. Also per Dr Daniel Racagnello (Columbia professor) - hydroxychloroquine can effectively protects the kidneys but not the lungs' inflammation. I believe IVERMECTIN & vitamin D3 would be a better choice, and FLUVOXAMINE can also be used to protect the brain as SARS-CoV-2 viruses can attack the brain (if no early treatment) abd cause neurological damage.

I have a super important question here. Will the heart heal or will there be scare tissue formed? Basically i'm asking will the heart ever be repaired or is injured for life or does it depend how bad the heart tissue is damaged on weather the heart will return to normal healthy function?

God Bless You for all that you do. Please, Mr Been, take a little time and consider your postition ... not as an infoprmation seeker but as a true medical professional. I believe that you can perform each beautifully but only one point clearly. ] As Neil nYoung said ..."Long may you run" Love you and your output dude!

It is known that the antibody response to covid-19 vaccines been lower than expected and that the immunity does not last. A hypothesis: may this be a result of that the immune system does not like this kind of antibodies and therefore these immune cells are asked to kill themself in order to prevent chronic autoimmune responses?

Dear Dr. Mobeen, how does it happen that Auto ACE2 antibodies disappear after a few months and on the the part autoimmune disease is chronic? Thanks!

What does it mean to say that a B cell "learns" to tolerate an antigen? This may be a useful way to think of this process, but it must be possible to understand and explain the actual mechanism. I guess the B cell must change its exterior morphology so that the tolerated antigen no longer binds to a receptor. What is it about these B cell receptors that makes them so adaptable? In a previous lecture, about T cells I think, you were describing a process that made a lot of random surfaces until it got one that fit and bound to the antigen. I don't remember exactly but it was a kind of shotgun approach. Whenever you talk about cells having memories or emotions or desires of some kind, I am always wondering what chemical processes are causing it.

Very good questions, I am wondering as well, maybe trial and error, educated guess, the law of probability, exploration of possibilities, instinct/ intuition, inner/outer consciousness, the divine hand?.

Any info on whether a vaccine or infection would be more likely to trigger an autoimmune response when the individual already has autoimmune disorders? I know yes in the case of Guillain-Barré but wondering about others Thank you!

Is it possible to discuss the T cells? I am under the impression mRNA used the wrong route in order to interact with the immune system. As I understand it, the antigens should be presented to T cells before they are presented to B cells thus the reason for all of this trouble. My understanding is the TCells should be teaching the B cells what to do but because mRNA causes your body to MAKE parts of the spike protein via the B cells, the T cells seem to get skipped and the B cells take over. This might be why you have a much greater efficacy even against variants with Novavax vs MRNA as the protein subunits are seeemingly presented to dendritic cells and then to T cells and then to B cells “if necessary”. Are you able to help me with this as I don’t want to misunderstand how this works.

Good day Sir. I have natural immunity. April 10th ,2021, I tested positive for covid antibodies, having not experienced any symptoms before or after the test, 14 months to the day after I was declared recovered feb 10, 2020. It is not the unvaccinated that is spreading the virus, but the vaccinated. I will not be vaccinated

I'm sure your comment is well-intentioned. You must be new here though. Doctor Syed has such a history of honesty and rigorous science - even before the pandemic - that no one here is really concerned about a spelling error here or there. English isn't his first language either: he's completely mastered English but few of us here can speak Urdu. Go easy on him.
