Hi Dale, Daniel here. I just got a notification from Book Award Pro and they said that my first book had gotten an Award. This shook me to the core, as my first book is easily the worst one of the three, and all i could ask is how and why. It also got a 2 star review on amazon, so i ask; How? By the way i will watch this video of yours in the hopes of learning something different that i don't know.

Well, if you're using Book Award Pro, chances are likely you applied for an award and won it. Beyond that, I don't know what for (like the category or name), so you'll want to visit your Book Award Pro dashboard for details. As for your two-star review, welcome to the club. Everyone gets a low review at some point. Learn what you can from it and adjust accordingly. Good luck, Daniel!

Awesome info! So do I HAVE to have ISBNs for e-books? It says optional. I only plan on offering ebooks through KDP. 🤔

If you're publishing your ebook strictly to Amazon KDP, then you won't need an ISBN. If you publish your ebook beyond Amazon KDP, it's a good idea, but not mandatory. Thank you, but I am still facing problems from kdp. If I change the price, cover, or manuscript, they block the book even though I have a Canvas Pro for creating images. I would appreciate your complete guidance.

Ooo, man. I can only guess at this point. KDP is the only one holding the answer on that. Try to get them on the phone support. I've found email support largely unhelpful in cases like this.

Look into Merch by Amazon, Spring, and Spreadshop. Those are decent options.

Yep, I just got word. I'll be covering it on the podcast this evening. Sadly, I saw this coming from a mile away based on their last ditch efforts to change the pricing structure and to run awards. Their biggest mistake was keeping it limited to the US.
