My husband says that instead of dropping the spark plug into the hole, use a 1/4” gas line about 8” long as an extension. Push the top of the plug into the gas line and place it in the hole and start turning it. Once the threads catch, pull the gas line off and then use socket to tighten it up. He says this prevents the ceramic from getting chipped or broken.

An air nozzle under the grips will make your life much better putting on grips. Put the tip just under the grip flange and pressurize the grip and slid it on without any lubrication. Just something I learned years ago, you actually dont have to stagger the ring gap. They rotate when on the piston to function correcly. It doesnt hurt anything at all just stagger, if u put a piston in a engine with them lined up and run it for a bit they will come back out not lined up.

I recently discovered your channel and love watching your videos. I recently completed a two year moto-tech class and your troubleshooting really helps reinforce the things I learned. Just curious, because this is something I got from my instructor a lot-have you ever thought of getting a bike lift? I used to get asked all of the time whether I realized I could raise the bike up (our work stations had bike lifts). I think because I don’t have one at home, I had already grown accustomed to working from the floor. However, it is a lot easier and less tiring to work on most things when I don’t have to squat or bend over. Your thoughts?
