Hello Katie from Alabama USA.I,too, am an artist, self-taught my first year of marriage 1969. I eventually got good enough to sell my paintings in galleries and at shows. Because we are a military town, with FtRucker helicopter training in SEAlabama, now I can say my work is all over the world,my art taken with the pilots&their families as they go/are around the world as US helicopter pilots. However I stopped painting several years ago due to my disability including major depression and C-PTSD from an abusive marriage. Depression has left me unable (more like unmotivated)to paint. So now I watch artists like you painting which helps satisfy my need to do art. Hopefully (age 75 now) I will soon paint again before I die. TY,Katie, for your work, your comments, your teaching. You are awesome to do this for us all! Perhaps when I begin doing my art again I can look for your guidance on selling art online because there will be no shows in my future. GBY sweet lady and much continued success.

My collection of dead roses has probably become way too extensive now haha! I share that love for dying flowers- such beauty in something so fragile. I love these everyday videos that give such an insight into the way you work. Keep it up Katie! Hope you're feeling all better soon!

AAAWWW POOR THING! That cold/sore throat thing made it across the pond huh? Seems like everyone in the US has is too. I think it spread from the US schools and day care centers, to the parents who took it to the workplace, and now some business traveler to England brought it to your door. lol Sorry. On behalf of my country, I take FULL responsibility. lolol But I do have a solution for you. Get a Neti Pot from your drug store or organic grocery store. It's a homeopathic treatment for colds, sore throats and sinus congestion/infection. I love it, especially during allergy season. The neti pot is basically a ceramic kettle you use to rinse warm salt water through your nostrils and down the sink. It stings a little when you do it but afterwards you'll feel like you've had a warm shower INSIDE your head!! lol And the salt that stays behind, establishes a hostile environment for any germs or viruses trying to multiply. Use only sea salt or kosher salt, NOT iodized salt. And only use spring or distilled water, NO tap or purified water. I know the procedure is pretty gross but it's SOOOO worth it. Feel better soon. :)
