That is awesome you honored your offer to the buyer who offered a higher amount simultaneously. Particularly for 'smaller' sellers, having repeat customers is great for business. And I agree that Poshmark's fees are no longer considered high, especially now that Ebay is suggesting I promote my items at 12% and up, which is insane.

I used the tiered sales strategy on a lot of my sales. It's a great strategy for a lot of sellers. I could get deeper into details but on the surface, you could add 10 items at 75% off, 100 items at 50% off and 1000 at 15% off and the banner reads "up to 75% off". In addition, from a sellers store page when I buyer clicks the sales tab, they don't have to wade through 15 different sales to find products. It's a great, all in one place to make themed discounts. Using the example given, I could call that tiered sale "Up to 75% off men's shirts". I send eBay feedback telling them I'm disappointed this feature was secretly taken away and WHY I liked it from a strategic marketing standpoint. Everyone that wants their voice heard can do so by going to the marketing summary tab and clicking the "give us feedback" button.

I'm into selling niche vintage Childrens books and yes I do think it's a long game. Sell more contemporary as well but i love selling on nostalgic kids books.

Hi Ryan! I like the Poshmark listing streak! I got my first reward, which was offering the next buyer who bought from me a shipping discount, which someone has done. I was listing anyway, so if this encourages more buyers to shop, I'll take it! I was very resistant to Poshmark, but now I really like it! Mercari has done things like this in the past, list a certain amount and get a discount on an item - I'm sure you know this LOL Thanks for sharing!
