Well, it made me smile. When Thatcher came to power I genuinely thought she’d at least do some stuff for women…jeez, that’s a long wait that’s still occurring! I took all the money I got from the ‘married man;s allowance’ and a bit more, and handed it by monthly DD, to my then-wife.
