She’s probably getting half ownership of Hoovie’s Garage KZbin channel and everything and anything that Tyler created. All that hard work and all those years while she was filing her nails and enjoying his wealth. Now she gets it all, after putting little or no effort. I advised Tyler when he was taking off to get a prenup, or a postnup. But some of us learn the hard way. He will make it out of all this and he will rebuild but you are looking at years. On top of the distribution of assets, he will need to support her in the manner she was accustomed to through alimony (probably give her the house too) and pay child support for their child. She gets a lifetime of riches, KZbin income for life. Not bad for a few years of “work”. She’s probably 30 years old. That’s what you call winning the lottery. This is the mechanism in this country, tilted one way. Stay strong Tyler! After the divorce, we should all migrate to his new channel and let the old channel die out.

This is why marriage is a dated formality that one can avoid today. I've been with my GF for just over 10 years, how will marriage change our lives? Oh, it'll make things more complicated if we ever split up, and since we both work, won't help us with taxes. There's really no benefit (besides the title "married", if that's a benefit), and lot's of risk and complication. It's easier to keep things separated. I used to want it but I don't really see the appeal. We're already more committed than most of our married friends that have been together for only a few years. Marriage is overrated.
