Way back in the 1970s my boyfriend and I lived in Thirlestane Castle (Lauder) for 6 months. One day we took a blanket down to the river and fell asleep - woke up to about a dozen cows sniffing at us!
@thepeanutgallery16992 жыл бұрын
Offa's Dyke Path actually ran through quite a few fields with cows (and sheep). The first time a herd of cattle (white park? Something I was unfamiliar with) started following me it kind of freaked me out. I figured "just keep walking, don't make any sudden movements, don't stare at any of them." Maybe it's because US cattle are typically on huge ranches and more "feral" than the domestic cattle of the UK, but I was always brought up to fear them, so to have the path go right through bull pens and cattle fields was a bit unnerving for me. Especially when they started following me around!

Getting my daily fix of Sheep Game. I’m not ashamed I’m hopelessly addicted to sheep! They’re my ‘crack cocaine! Your vlogs are a quick fix but i get to go out 12 hours per day and mainline those fuzzy beauties! It’s hard to think of it as a business...that would make me a ‘dealer’! I give out free milk and meat samples to get the youngsters hooked! Young folk find themselves hanging out to learn about sheep and how to get started...this is so addictive! Bwahahahaha! My sheep ‘drug’ of choice is Leicester Longwools. I got involved in the conservancy of this glorious species. They’re like sweet meek puppies as they follow me around, walk up for a scratch on the cheek an they love a quick snack. It’s a good deal they’re gentle as they average 100-160 kilos and could do anything they want if they have a mine to!
