I don’t know if you ever thought about it. But instead of recorded Fire Camp perhaps LIVE Streaming these updates to talk to us in real time. Set a time limit and also will give people a chance to support you and the channel with Super chats. You can think of it as Farm Income as well.

Great idea. We might do lives in the future if we have a membership area. But it’s not in the cards right now. Be blessed friend. Sometimes people send us Super Thanks. Which is just like a super chat except it’s for the videos and not for lives. My biggest issue is they take a huge percentage of it somewhere between 30 and 50%, and peoples money doesn’t go really where they wanted it to go. I think most people don’t realize . I think we’d much rather people buy products they can use, or lots of people can’t afford to buy a 10 dollar bar of soap so people can support the channel just by watching videos and commenting or share a video. Sharing is caring! Thanks for thinking of us, friend

I'd come but I'm in Arkansas. Lol I found you this weekend looking for cajeta recipes. I'm a goat owner also. My caramel turned out great . Ty. It's illegal to sell raw goats milk here. U can sell it as a not for human consumption on your property but not off your property. I give mine away to a neighbor and my parents. I make cheese and things w mine. We live in a half finished house we have been building and milling our own lumber. We pay as we go. No mortgage. We work and I'm a nurse. He works construction. We have a garden and I've been putting up a little canning. Making home a business is such a dream. I love being a nurse but less stress would be amazing.

That would definitely work if we had on grid power. We live off grid and have a 2000 W system which means we can run either the vacuum or a microwave but not both at the same time. Ha! @FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska - thanks, but these days, just about everything I do has an ulterior motive. I believe it's imperative that we help each other... in whatever ways we can. I also believe that "giving & spreading good" is ALWAYS the right thing to do. Not because you expect anything in return, but because it's the RIGHT THING TO DO. But, for full disclosure... I haven't wanted to try sour dough because the idea of making something just to have to throw some of it out really bothered me. Soooo... I'm really looking forward to their ideas & recipes. THEY obviously like helping others to learn, like you & Mr Reeve do, so that makes them A-ok in my book! ♥️♥️

I have a question. When it comes to raw goat milk, are you concerned with bacteria such as Campylobacter, Listeria, E. coli, Salmonella or Cryptosporidium? Do you pasteurize since it only affects a neglible amount of benefits? I have been thinking about getting some. Thanks ✌️☺️🌻💞🇱🇷
@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska4 ай бұрын
The milk is not pasteurized. There are certain regulations about selling raw milk. Most states don’t allow raw milk sales. But our ours does under specific requirements. So we’ve been registered with the state to be able to do that. In short, no, I’m not concerned about those bacteria issues because I know how we handle this milk. we’ve been drinking raw milk for three years and have had zero issues. But, I would say that you should always only do what you’re comfortable with, and for all food that you consume or purchase, make sure you feel safe with the source getting it from. 💕💕💕
