Hey, it has been so long, but could you please comment on the hinges? Are those mounted on plastic or the magnesium chassis? Most of the laptops use brass inserts in the plastic body, is this same too? I am concerned about the hinge mount only. I have a x270 and the only complaint I have is the hinge posts are all broken (until I poured some CA and bicarb).

I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these to use as a Linux workstation. It's 2021, and I can't find a good modern Linux machine. I'm just in the process of returning a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus because the touchpad malfunctions (intermittently, after a random amount of time). The Latitude 7490 looks pretty good, but even over here in the UK it's quite pricey. If buying from "Dell Refurbished", it does come with a 6 month warranty...

which flavour of Linux would you go with? I've always had good luck with Linux Mint but find that Ubuntu is generic enough that everything works with it.

Sir, that's not the dual camera. One is an IR blaster for windows hello feature - a face recognition.

I bought a used one 2 days ago when I turned It On the screen didn't work but everything else worked just fine now I'm going to give It back to the seller to fix It but he told me that It will take a lot of time, what should I do and what would possibly be the cause ??

I’d plug in an external monitor first to see if it’s pushing out a display at all. The seller might just wait till they get it back and then cancel the sale and refund you. It could be a loose connection?

90% of the time on Facebook marketplace. I don’t sell these on eBay anymore due to Scammer’s. I plan on making a video soon about the beat places to buy a computer and what to look for.

I never had it long enough to test but I think it showed 8 hours when I moved the mouse over the battery icon after a full charge.

dell laptops trash, i use macbook pro 13 inch that is a better laptop. But there are online classes if you look online.
