SEMA 2014 - A Look at Factory Five's New 289 Cobra USRRC Replica

We know Factory Five Racing best for their 427 Cobra replica, but at the 2014 SEMA show we got to see their new 289 Cobra. This car is an homage to the FIA racer that built the Cobra legend around the world, and faithfully reproduces the look of those original race-winning 289 powered roadsters.

I'm from Italy and unfortunately I can only watch these beauty on youtube, because here these cars are quite a nonsense because of high taxes applied on them and all the pollution bullshit engine restrictions demanded by European regulations. That said, I think Factory Five will sell more than Superformance on these Cobras models, because of the more affordable kit price versus the SPF turn key (ready to go) but very very expensive cars. What do you guys think about it?

I would expect a lot more than 311 h.p from a 347 with webers. At least 400.

They don't build a complete car ! it is a kit car you build. So whats the point of showing this car. These guys are dicks I emailed them many times because I had some questions on a GTM car NEVER received an E- mail back ! So I bought a new vette and i love it !!!!

joe Smith People like to see,what the finished product looks like.,I can answer any question you have,I have studied the car for a few years.They receive 1,000's of emails a day,most companies can't keep up with the volume.Call them,go on there forum,order a DVD,talk to owners at car shows,meetings etc..It self explanatory,its a kit car,you supply the drive chain,they supply the rest.I too love the new Vette,what engine ?
