SEMA 2023 Hi-Lift New Product - Safety First.

Rick Péwé and Clifton Slay chat about a new safety product with Austin Harrah of Hi-Lift Jack. The innovative Storable Off-Road Jack Stand is small, compact, rated at 4,000 lb, constructed from 6061 Aluminum, and adjustable 15” to 24” with a pivoting head to ease jack positioning. The new Storable Jack Stand collapses to fit in a small carry bag for storage in your Jeep.
Next is the unique Winch-Clamp-Spreader Attachment (WCSA), which comes standard with X-TREME, UTV, and First Responder Jacks. It takes on a new look and increases capabilities and performance for the ever-increasing use of soft shackles and synthetic rope.

I haven't carried my HI-Lift in YEARS. The rafters in my garage do a good job of holding it for me. About the only time it comes out is to pull T-posts around the property, so it gets tossed in the CJ2 for those short jobs. I carried it for nearly 2 decades and realized I never really used it. It was just taking up space/weight. I'm not lifted on huge tires, so a couple of good scissor jacks have always worked well for me. The jack stand is neat, but without a good baseplate and those skinny feet I'm stuck finding a good flat rock to put it on. Or bringing even more stuff in the from of a base plate or two.

It's a mixed bag, some people love'em, some leave them in the garage. We'll admit you don't pull them out all the time, but for certain jobs there is no substitute for a Hi-Lift.

I bought my high lift in 1978. I used it a few weeks ago when replacing posts on a boat dock

They work great for pulling posts, straightening a frame, pulling an axle into place, and tons of other stuff. Make great boat anchors as well:)
