tip from my filipino grandma: slice a whole onion in half and rinse in cold water. This prevents tearing and weakens the pungent smell!

Steph! I'm 27 and have that bed frame! I've had one just like it growing up! It's perfect. I change my room often and I never have to change the frame. I've had it for 6 years now and bought it at IKEA. Literally goes with everything.

If you go to home depot, they will cut all the wood to size for you! Also love all the pins that you got sent. Makes me want to go look for similar ones! I have been in the same mood, revamping and cleaning everything! Its not boring... I love seeing your home changes!

I felt the same way about that white metal bed frame you wanted at IKEA. But I ended up buying it and here I am, a year later, and I love waking up in it every morning. I contemplated getting it for the same reason because I wanted one as a child, but I seriously adore it. You should go for it! The white one from ikea is pretty affordable and you're not stuck with it for life. I think you should just go for it :)

The day after you got the cookies and pins, when you filmed the OOTD, I sensed an underlying sadness in Melos. I don't know why, but I started tearing at the thought of your mom. I've always had weird feelings and vibes and I don't know you but I needed to let you know I feel your mother in your videos, which goes to say I feel her in your everyday lives. Especially in this one. Again, I don't know you or her, but I have an overwhelming need to tell you how much she loves you and how proud she is of how well you guys are taking care of yourselves and each other. So the other day, I saw a commercial about Scottsdale, Arizona here in Jersey and I thought of you two while drinking my Arizona Ice Tea. Lol. Loved this video. I was waiting for you guys to bring up a DIY head board. Just go to any Home Depot or Lowe's and they will cut a board to your specification for free. Buy the foam, and material at Michael's or craft store and staple around. Nail to wall with simething like 2 2x4's and it will probably come out alot cheaper. When you get tired of the material. You change it up. You can also check on Craig's List. My daughter bought an amazing Ikea bed for $50.00.

Yay you girls are soooo cool and I enjoy watching your vlogs a lot!! It's my Sunday (and now Wednesday) tradition haha. Punk, I'm looking for a platform bed too and I have my eyes set for one from Muji, which maybe in the same price range to the one you saw at UO. I had that same IKEA bed frame, but I got tired of it and decided modify it a little by removing the top "pretty" portion of the headboard so it would be plain throughout and look like the footboard but that didn't work out, so I just got rid of it entirely :( I'm trying to go for the clean look of wood and plants in my bedroom, so I'm for the wood and metal look!

i think the metal bedframe isnt childish at all! in white maybe its a little simple and cute looking but i have a similar one in black and ive seen them in other colours and they are sooo pretty (and cheap, might I add)

Maybe the white bed can be spray painted metallic so it looks a little older but it's still a cute bed frame regardless and the one from ikea that you saw is really affordable :)
