Nothing is better than a working washing machine in the house, except for having a working dryer as well. Your mom is awesome!!!

I would definitely recommend an Ikea trolley for all the immediate baby/mum stuff you need to be in reach of (e.g some nappies, change of clothes, pump etc). It's so handy to have those stuff easily be moved around the house or even just the room.

I've been subscribed to your channel for years, but somehow my yt algorithm stopped suggesting me your videos so i kinda fell out. YT recommended me this video and I feel like I've had a coffee with an old friend I haven't seen in ages but still somehow feel a connection with. I'm so glad you're doing well, you're crushing it! and I'm so happy for the baby! wish you all the best!

It wasn't the YT algorithm. She's only been back with two previous videos after taking off 2-3 months. There really wasn't new content for the algorithm to recommend. She's back now -until the baby. 👶🏾 comes.

I love the transparency in this video - the washing machine fail, the wallpaper drooping off, the working in bed, everything! I often see creators just like you making art, prints, orders, videos, and somehow managing life and everything on top and wonder how on earth everyone else can seem to do it but not me. I have ADHD, so all of this can be very hard to manage, but seeing that somebody else is living amazingly and imperfectly is really inspiring - just the everyday existing :) Love you Minnie, and everything you do. 🥰🥰

I’m sort of in a rut with work recently- I live with my grandma and have my own room in the house (used to be my mom’s room). But because I work so much, my room usually piles up with mess and never feel like it’s truly my own space. Your vids inspire me to try and set tasks to slowly build it up to feel more ‘me’ over time. But I feel I go out a lot to avoid being in my room since it seems rather boring and dull

❤That marriage certificate will probably show up as soon as the new one arrives, at least that's what would happen to me. Twice now I've 'lost' and cancelled credit cards only to find the card a few minutes later. I wish I had your energy, I have so much cleaning and decluttering to do myself.
@minniesmall
@minniesmall 11 ай бұрын
Haha that's what I was thinking! I'm sure it will (and I'd love to still have the original copy for sentimental reasons) but I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this 😅 My biggest advice for the cleaning and decluttering is actually to not start out by doing it all at once. Tackle one small area at a time, and even spread that over a few days. It can get really overwhelming otherwise!

I had to laugh watching you spending the day organizing and doing laundry, it reminded of how the "nesting" instinct always kicks in right before you are about to give birth. I am a Mother of three and a grandmother of five. It reminded me of when I was pregnant with my last child, my youngest son Bryce, who is 28 years old now. The day I went into labor with Bryce, I woke up early in the morning and started cleaning and organizing my entire house from top to bottom. I began having labor pains around 11 am, and I called my Mom and told her I thought I might be starting to have labor pains. My Mom (who died several years ago and whom I miss every day), kept calling me back all throughout the day to see if my labor pains were getting any worse, and they were, and she kept begging me to call the doctor or the hospital to see if I should come in and let them check me. But I kept putting it off, promising her I would call them just as soon as I finished scrubbing the bathroom floor, or organizing the last kitchen cupboard, etc. She was so concerned she kept calling every hour, so I finally promised her I would call the doctor or go to the hospital if the pains got any worse or closer together. So I keep cleaning and organizing until finally it was 5:30 pm and time for me to take my oldest son Brandon, who was 10yrs old, to his baseball championship play-off game that he was the starting pitcher in. This was his most important game being the star pitcher, and it was the game that would make them the regional champions if they won, and they would advance to the state championship playoff games. So there I was sitting in the bleachers cheering for my son as he pitched an amazing game, when at around 8pm with my five yr old daughter Brianna by my side, and having sat through almost the entire game having awful labor pains, when suddenly my water broke right there on the bleachers! And even I could not put off the trip to the hospital any longer. LOL! Watching you kick into full on nesting mode brought back that funny and amazing memory for me. How I almost gave birth to my last child at a baseball game because I couldn't stop the nesting instinct that was driving me to clean and prepare for the birth of my new baby. Sometimes the nesting instinct can kick in weeks, or even a month or two before the birth, but usually it kicks as your body gets closer to, or right before, giving birth. The whole Mothering instinct is one of God's most precious gifts of life. And to prove that point, just three days later I was in Peachtree City, Georgia about 3 hrs from where we lived, sitting under a shade tree with my 5yr old daughter, and my newborn 3 day old baby son, watching my oldest son pitch at his State Championship playoff games. Only a mother would do such things with no thought for herself, but only for her children. Not trying to "toot my own horn", because all good Mothers are the same, there is nothing we would not do for our children, and you are about to blessed to find that out. The Bible says "Children are a blessing" from God. And nothing could be more true. And God in His infinite love and mercy, divinely equipped Mothers for the job. And the nesting instinct that overtakes all Mothers just prior to giving birth is evidence of that divinely instinctive equipping that prompts all Mothers to prepare for the arrival of their new born child.
