Thanks for sharing another very good concert. House full concert. No place to stand even at outside krishna Gana Sabha. This was a special concert. He was accompanied by V.Subramanian and Palai Ramachandran. After the concert the entire collection was handed over by sri. Yagyaraman and offered namaskaram.

There are some Krithis attributed to Dikshithar which are not considered to be composed by him but listed as Dikshithar Krithis(Though I do not know by which criteria were these Krithis excluded) Some Examples include: 1) Gopika Manoharam - Mohanam 2) Akhilandeshwari - Dwijavanthi 3)Nandagopala - Yamuna Kalyani

@@ashutoshramkumar5270 these kritis are excluded by a few criteria - style (depending on if the lyrical/musical style matches dikshita's) - geography (if we have evidence that dikshita visited the ksetra where the kriti was supposed to be composed), and most importantly - presence in the sangita sampradaya pradarsini (which is a text created by his grand-nephew which is the scholarly authority on dikshita compositions -- if a kriti does not appear in this text, it is more than likely spurious, and hence listed as 'disputed'. both kritis in this concert aren't actually in the pradarsini and so are marked as disputed)

Krithis like "Pashupathishwaram" and "Pannagashayana" are in debate because of lack of evidence that Dikshithar visited either Nepal or Thiruvananthapuram Even Popular Krithis like "Akhilandeshwari" are under scrutiny as the use of Dwijavanthi is very different from "Chetashri" which is listed in SSP. And Krithis such as "Smaramyaham Sada" or "Mahasuram" differ very much in the structure seen in that of the Vara Krithis in general

I skipped to the thani directly..never tire hearing palani or sankaran sir. Not the same with semmangudi though.. most kritis repeat 😢 . Semmangudi has a very safe set of Kritis seems like and repeated them over. I have heard all the Kritis except the harikamboji in multiple concert recordings. However superlative they are, it gets boring after a while
