We r sooo proud of our energetic new Senator of MO. He battled non stop against Hillary's "Dare the Claire" who was a bust for our state. Once again thanks Josh for taking on this real and present danger of social media!!

@@LastWord I think he would have won regardless of Project Veritas but I agree with you. So glad I voted for him. I am a Republican and I would have voted for him but in this instance I voted for someone that actually has the brains and will to help his home state and the country!

I don't need to watch any more. I've seen Hawley OWN on the floor. I'm thinking about moving to Missouri from Oregon now.

I'm not from MN but you have my vote! Behind border security on line security and the outrite theft of personal privacy by the conglomerates is paramount. Thank you!

Hawley is a perfect example of why we need intelligent, educated, younger politicians in our governments. Politicians who actually understand the modern world. Not people who are recruited from a street corner for whatever reason.

I agree with many points, particularly with people who seem shaped and molded by social media as if it was some sort of legal guardian. On the other hand, being a small, err, one-man business, without social media, I would have no way to market. Being from rural Alabama, social media is in many ways my only access to the outside world--in business terms. As you mentioned in general this is a complicated problem. Engineers who would have invented a better nuclear reactor are sitting on a beach, sipping pina coladas, vlogging on their cell phones, yes, that is a travesty. However for people like me how are not engineers, or doctors or lawyers or pick any traditional profession, those of us who are creative types who would have been filmmakers, playwrights, poets, and musicians and composers but never had the opportunity, well, social media presents the greatest opportunity we have ever had. I started making custom fishing floats that my dad invented. Over the years I perfected the design. KZbin was a way to serve existing customers by teaching them how to use the product. I saw Orvis, the fly fishing tackle company, make a commercial that was really a documentary film where the CEO took his son on a fly fishing trip to Cuba. That lit a fire in me: that I could learn to be a filmmaker and begin to market my products much the same way Orvis does. As a result I started studying filmmaking on my own, buying better cameras and perfecting the craft. Surely enough my fishing video have morphed into short, independent documentary-like films. All this happened as a result of social media, particularly KZbin. I see KZbin as a way to steer people toward something realistic. In fact that is my artistic vision: Realism displayed with elegant simplicity. I can't tell you the number of times people have told me they got out of the house and went fishing just because they saw one of my aspiring fishing adventure films. Without social media, I don't have leverage. I'm a poor man. I live in rural Alabama, but I have a rich life. That richness of life is represented in my films. While a social media-based economy is not a good thing, without it I had simply fallen through the cracks of society because having a master's degree and working in a fast food restaurant is far more depressing than anything I've experienced in social media.

Guy really does have some audacity talking so fancy for a republican. Like Lincoln's understudy or something... who TF are you lol I mean it's fantastic everything is great but in introduction and closing the language gets really grand and the vocabulary choices in general are just great I think what I'm trying to say is that it's nice hearing a republican say things that make sense in a way that sounds smart but doesn't sound like he just stamped it out of the cutter.
