CNBC is fairly balanced politically. If you talk to any actual economists though, they don’t agree with this narrative that it’s corporate greed and not money printing. Even companies that are getting higher margins, that’s still a function of supply/demand. Money printing pushes demand way beyond the available supply, that shows up as price increases. A lot of the time that’s just from people outbidding, and not necessarily charging more. When government shuts down the economy, crushing supply and then money supply increases 40% that will undoubtedly cause these problems. Lets get to the root cause instead of having granular thinking and pushing all of the blame away from where it actually is.

Inflation is a thing, for starters, so each year money is worth less than before so if they made the same in real dollars, they would have made less actually. @@jellojiei6061 @jellojiei6061 Doesn't matter if the money is worth less if the nominal value of the profits being had are still elevated relative to prior nominal values. @@tomschott2313 the video game thing was an example of exponential growth as in those games you have a limited amount of resources, and over time, you use said resources, to build infrastructure which will help you be more efficient and make more resources, in the same way a company will use its profit, to hopefully invest in a new factory or technology that can help them, make their products a lot easier. This it’s unfair, to say that just because someone is making more, it’s due to unfair business practices, another example would be comparing, factories, from now to early factories in England, we are making a lot more now, because we invested the surplus profits, in better industries, now because the factories today are way greedy, than back in England, during the industrial revolution. Prices are not high because of businesses making a buck. Prices are high because there is much more money than natural circulation due to printing. The Dollar loses it's overall value as a result. That less value leads to price increases not due to supply and demand, but instead because overall value is matched to the state of the lesser value to avoid deficit. This is not a factor of greed, this is a factor of running a damn business. Thus dumping money back into economy. It's basics Warren. Economy 101 supply and demand. There's nothing wrong with taking care of planet earth. We all have to live here right? The problem is the initiation process (heavy regulations first ). When you have a vision of building a new house? Do you build the roof, then the interior and then the foundation? Even prefab houses must have a solid foundation built first. Otherwise they're not considered homes. They have all these crazy ideas but no real long term solutions. Like dumping money on ppl during COVID so ppl could pour it back into economy to stabilize markets. Dumping money into businesses for green deal (buying union leaders. especially auto). They forgot demand needs to be present? Well need is present if you throw in regulations! Just don't think they really plan these things properly. Buddy, the money supply went up 40% after them shutting down the economy and crushing supply. Research how deficit spending works in a fractional reserve system, and what QE does. Even companies that have better margins, that is strictly a function of supply/demand. The fault lies 100% with government and the central bank. During WW2 people were saying the same thing you are now after government printed money out of control to fund it. They then implemented pricd controls, which caused food shortages, and when they removed the price controls inflation just shot up anyway.

price gauging isnt the issue, its inflation and debasement of the dollar via money printing thanks to warren, gensler, biden and harris. They are trying to blame it on price gauging which is just false ,the reality is that our dollars are really worth that much less. If you combine inflation and money printing (increased supply of dollars) the value of our dollar is now going down 14% per year thanks to them. grocery stores have the thinnest margins of almost any businesses. grocery stores had to deal with inflation, increases in fuel costs, increases supply chain costs etc all due to the lefts policies. warren is lying through her teeth. they refuse to take accountability for what they have done to the economy / the dollar nor provide any plans on how they are going to fix it. they just hustle uninformed (left leaning) voters with made up talking points like this "price gauging". Do you realize that thanks to these people 80%of ALL us tax dollars last year went to pay for just interest on the national debt? thats right, only 20% of tax dollars went to the our country and about a quarter of that went to migrants. Warren is also the driving force behing gary gensler and biden administration selling all of americas bitcoin right now at rock bottom prices 2 days after both trump and rfk announced plans to erase the national debt thought our enormous bitcoin reserves. they are selling it now to make sure we stay in debt. Dont you get it? warren/gensler/biden/harris work for the federal reserve/bankinig elites. there goal is to keep america in debt and bleed us all dry. The issue of price gouging may be better kept on a local level. As Warren says 2 dozen states already have price gouging laws. Others on this thread have discussed the Warren Act, a federal law already in place. My concern with politics today is a national law would used during election times for incumbent parties to artificially keep prices low, just so they could get re-elected.
