The rich lived longer but not to 80 years old. Federal job REQUIRED retirement age is 55-65 years old. That should apply to ALL federal employees including all three branches of government.

It is now completely partisan and the Federalist Society is choosing the candidates along with dark money. See Senator Whitehouse's presentation to the Committee on Barrett on KZbin, "Watch: Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse speaks during hearing for Supreme Court nominee Amy Comey Barrett". The Court is anything but independent now and buried in political pressures. So, that stopped working as corporate dark money permeates our entire government, and we must try and save our representative republic. There is nothing in the Constitution that sets the number of judges, and the number has changed before in our history. Additionally, the Constitution does not provide for lifetime appointments. Practice and constitutional law are not synonymous. Also, the first amendment is the cornerstone of our free republic, which Barrett could not recite or even name the five fundamental rights listed in the amendment in her confirmation hearing! We should he very concerned when the Supreme Court's purpose is to protect the U S. Constitution!
