I started within trading and activation positions at my local agency and gradually escalated towards strategy and planning :) For the activation role I was asked to have all the DSP certifications available to the public so DV360, Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Google Ads, Yahoo, etc. Hope that helps!

Thank you :) I have a few questions. 1) Does programmatic only work on CPM basis? no other payout models like CPA, CPC etc. 2) What's the role of a marketing agency in this scenario? Great video, thanks. I'd love to know more about what % cut each of these parties get from the original advertiser's spend. Mainly for curiosity's sake. For example if the advertiser starts with a $10 CPM, how much does each party get, and how much does the end publisher end up getting. Especially publishers running on networks like Mediavine and Raptive.

Quick correction @11:40. Google Ad Manager and Google Ad Exchange (Adx) are two different things. Google Ad Manager is an ad server/SSP. Adx is Google Ad Exchange. The name wasn't changed. They are two different things.

Yes, but DFP (SSP) and Ad Exchange UI were merged and now called Google Ad Manager. There is no separate tool/UI/Login for Ad Exchange anymore. That is what i mentioned

Why brand need use DSP if there are google ads, meta ads, tiktok ads. Maybe 80% clean internet used for app/web that related to those networks. After watch this video i realized i dont know nothing about programmatic ads. 90% of budget i spend, it's only to google ads, meta ads and tiktok ads, and the remaining just for testing smaller ad network.

Before the data connection was enabled for Google and Meta both but you still needed to get whitelisted by the account manager. Not for everyone. Now it is available in DSPs

AdX and DFP were seperate before. Google merged the two products and have same UI now called Google Ad Manager. This is in terms of UI access but SSP and Ad Exchange are fundamentally two separate products
