@@KrisChana does home care agency mean assisted living or senior residential living facility? whereas adult day care is as the name implies, for the day? I ve been a practicing occupational therapist for 6 years working with geriatric population; I am interested in starting an adult day care and/or senior residential living. I 'm trying to learn about this more. Do you have any recommendations or resources? How did you get started? Thanks for doing what you do! keep it up.

This is so inspiring! Thanks for this video! I have been in the healthcare industry for years. I started as a dietary aid then a CNA, an Lpn and now BSN, RN. I am licensed in PA but reside in NJ. Do I have to reside and be licensed in the state I want to open an adult day care center? Thank you!

Hi Eve Blue. Thank you so much for your feedback!! Every state is a little bit different. In Florida, we are licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), however I just recently interviewed a lady named, Joan Marie, who owns three adult day care centers in New Jersey.
