Each state is so different that licensing requirements would depend heavily on your state. We always advise individuals to speak with their state adult day association first to learn more about licensing in their state.

You can always serve both demographics but it makes it easier from a marketing perspective to choose a focus.

Hi there! Medicaid is paid for by the government through each state. Private pay is paid out of pocket by individuals. You can accept both, however, it’s important to identify first who you plan to serve. The way you market and your location will be different depending on which demographics you choose to target.
