Thank u But during waiting periods for licenses in CA RCFE is around 8 months ADHC is 18-24 months That’s BIG money to pay lease without use it

That’s crazy!! Sadly this is why we have stayed out of California. The regulations make it nearly impossible for small businesses to have a chance.

I think this comprising's are not full. You need to mention that clients in assistant living facility very often not in the condition to attend ADC.

In some cases, however, we owned an assisted living community for 10+ years and our residents would attend our adult day program. Many of the residents in assisted living communities around our area can definitely participate in an Adult Day program. It’s more common that someone who lives in a skilled nursing community may not be able to participate in adult day.

@@KrisChana you have a lot of great business ideas ( I am going to check them all), but I don’t see much about the programs in you ADC ( may be I missed it). After your comment I have a question about what exactly you do for entertainment? Do you have program in ADC for dementia participants? Are working only with seniors if you accepting IDD too?

Assisted living does have pros! I may be slightly biased towards Adult Day but only because I have owned both. That said, assisted living potentially has a real estate component which can be extremely beneficial!
