I've been enjoying Shogun too, and playing Commands & Colors Samurai Battles in between episodes. Highly recommend it as a midweight, exciting skirmish game. My first GMT game.

It’s in the same family as Battlelore (from FFG), Memoir 44 and also Battlecry.

I remember Shut Up and Sit Down reviewed Battlelore when it came out. I haven’t played these ones, but my group would love a WWII theme.

Your voice spelt "Shogun" wrong. It's not "show gun" it's "Shogun" (someone had to say it). Great video though. I'm surprised by how well you pronounced most of the other Japanese words which come up when talking about Senjutsu. I find it really interesting to see a breakdown of what skills the game is engaging with, will have to check your channel out some more! Also fun fact: In this era in history, the average height of a man in Japan was 5'5" so a 6 foot long weapon was taller than almost everyone in the country, with rare exceptions. Musashi was famous as a "giant" in addition to his fame as one of the greatest swordsmen ever to live. And he was 6'1" so by Japanese standards, "giant" is accurate, but much less so from a Western perspective. Feel free to add that to your lesson plan during future games!

Thanks for the info, and for watching - as a Canadian from the East Coast, I’m lucky if I pronounce English words correctly!
