I'm passionate about every line of this lyrics... I've been in a lot of situations in my life where Sense Field music helped me get over it or gave me the strength to confront it. I wish I was born earlier so I could have the opportunity to watch them live.

I had to a chance to them live with, I think Mighty Mighty Bosstones around 96 somewhere near Pittsburgh or Clevland, cannot remember for the life of me. Great band!

I will never forget seeing Sense Field live, Jon in his collared shirts, singing at the top of our lungs. ♥️

Yes, at the top of his lungs and yet he managed to still be fully intelligible, at least to me. He was a very talented singer.

It was 1996 at this place now shut down called Formula in Oakland. Like aug 8th or something. Tilt, Sensefield, samiam. Imagine to be there, watching Samiam after playing ourselves too. I was All bymyself in a dark corner hanging on the Wall. Found out we were next ti each others. Jon was about to get on stage. He gave me his compliments. Sensefield went then straight into my heart for a couple of decades. Thanks for the beautiful music. Thank You Jon

Man this is so close to my hometown! I was only 8 in 1999... Can't regret being born too late! Thank you for this upload. I get to live this 20 years after and it feels like being there!

It's great to be able to go back and relive the uniqueness of this band.Really no other band from that era/that sound can compare in my opinion.Sense Field really set themselves apart, Rodney's otherworldy guitar leads, Jon's voice...yes, pure gold!

I never considered SF to be an Xian band. Are you sure they are?
@benfrazier287110 жыл бұрын
Patrick Hale There's a lot of references to "Lord" and "Father" in their lyrics, although nothing overtly Christian, per se. In the liner notes of the s/t record (the first Rev release that combines the two pre-Rev eps),it says something like "For those who seem to care, Sensefield's only religion is music."
@PatrickHale102010 жыл бұрын
christian or not im still a huge fan. Love your "piping hot ice cream" comment. couldnt have said it better.
@scottroskos40649 жыл бұрын
+mono monkey Sense Field addressed this question, but I don't think a lot of people heard it. Here's the quote: "Sense Field's religion is music". Definite spiritual aspect to it, but not specifically Christian.

I always thought they were a christian band as well, and yeah "piping hot ice cream" is gross. Despite my aversion to christian rock (just writing it makes me feel ill) I really liked Sense Field's "Killed for Less" album. I thought that was great!
