Picked up one of these June last year for a bargain price of £1000. Have loved it ever since. Like driving around in an armchair. Exactly the same spec as this one too.

What a glorious machine this is. 😍 I rather like the wood trim contrasting against the dashboard and door cards.

Yes, it is a very nice car, even better than Mr Coleman's previous 960. I don't like the droopy door handles on the inside, and I would prefer a beige leather interior, but apart from that....

Smashing video Joseph, nice to see Mr. Coleman with another V90. Makes me miss my 960. I need to stop messing about with the diesels and get it back on the road! Would be interesting to see the 45 page options booklet, do you know if it is available online anywhere?
@lloydvehicleconsulting4 ай бұрын
Sir, we cannot discuss such things, can we? We can, however, discuss Mr Coleman's latest purchase. You will have to ask him if he has the option book for a facelifted 960.

An amazing car! One of the best motors I’ve ever driven - a former boss had a brand new one - I’d look for any excuse to borrow it. The engine was superb, lusty, flexible, but very smooth. For a large estate car it handled really well - you could really hustle it along. Sport mode on the automatic ‘box made it very swift. It also had a wonderful, comfortable and well built interior. I have looked at buying one as a daily driver, but I think they’ll be difficult to source parts for, and rather thirsty!
@lloydvehicleconsulting4 ай бұрын
Yes, not the most economical car, but parts availability seems reasonable OK, considering how rare they are. The engine is one of the best things about these, along with the handling.

I'd imagine parts availability would be an issue. I just scrapped off my 2005 S80 D5 SE Lux manual (saloon) because I needed an automatic due to a disability, and also many parts had to be sourced direct from Volvo in Sweden. In fact I never did get a replacement for the in-car entertainment system (HU850) despite searching extensively through dealerships, eBay and even an email direct to Volvo in Gothenburg. I'm sad at letting it go because it was quiet, comfortable and economical (something which the replacement definitely isn't).
@lloydvehicleconsulting4 ай бұрын
Well, I drove a Mark I S80 earlier this year. It was very comfortable indeed. I don't think things like the radio exist new any more, sadly... A placement unit would have to come from somewhere like Ebay secondhand, I imagine. Parts availability on this one seems OK as far as I understand it.
