However in national emergencies like hurricanes that wipe out communities, or massive flooding that takes out others, or wars that limit supplies from imports, the gov’t steps in with FEMA support and low interest loans to get people back on their feet. Thus we also have Nat’l Strategic Security Reserves of food, grains, water, and fuel. Biden stole ours. He gave away our food reserves to the 3rd world and sold off our oil reserves - NONE OF THAT SHOULD EVER HAVE BEEN TOUCH - it was for NATIONAL SECURITY THREATS, which a grid down would be. He did the oil to drop gas prices before elections -to fake out his idiot voters. A COMPLETE WASTE. He has not refilled them, because now everything cost massively more than when Trump filled them all up. Yes Trump actually looked out for the welfare of Americans, unlike Biden. Biden and his communist party is a complete failure. They have no right to steal from anyone in emergencies. It’s everyone’s responsibility to supply their own needs, but you know as well as I do that the parasitical class will do nothing to help themselves and expect the gov’t to baby them by stealing from everyone else. Thus you have Nat’l Strategic reserves or you have people starving. My objection is, the communist gov’t robbing people who work hard to provide for themselves, and the gov’t expects to walk right in and steal everything. I’ve watched preppers and they work very hard for what they have. I can grow my own foods so am not concerned for my family, but we can only grew just enough for ourselves. @@pegkennedy2886 The quote is from John Knox. Acts 5:29 is more direct when governments (tyrants) issue orders not in compliance to God. Romans 13 is clear on government's role and boundaries. When government crosses over into authority granted/established by God but not theirs, it is incumbent on us to not follow (disobey). Many good books but let me recommend "Caesar and the Church: A Biblical Study of Government and the Church" by Anthony Forsyth, a readable work that deals with, along with other issues, the government's crackdown on churches during covid, restricting how and when churches could worship, a clear violation of governmental authority. My church as well as thousands of others did not obey.

FEMA does NOT confiscate food OR guns. They come to see if you qualify for repairs on your home after a disaster. I've lived on a boat for 25 years. During that time I've gotten shoulder refrigerator and air conditioning and Generator and all kinds of things. I always try to keep a minimum of 30 days supplies on my boat, which does include perishables. I've worked as a carpenter in construction most of my life, and I've learned that work isn't regular for us. Must always have a good supply of food. I’ve invested in honing skills over stockpiling supplies. I have some for the beginning of a shtf situation but I know how to keep going when those supplies run out. I live on the water and know where some big oyster reefs are, I got some fishing poles, I know how to turn the salt water into fresh water. If I have to move, I know how to set traps. During WWII my grandmother told me the police would go into your home and look for sugar, coffee, and a few other items and take them. Under the chicken coop are they had glass jars of sugar.
