This is THE comprehensive reference to what the RPF is, and how it is to experience it. Nothing tops it.

One of your best videos yet. You really laser focus in on the lunacy and evil that is Scientology... Thank goodness you found your way out! And I'm sure all your hard work has helped others who were trapped in the bubble world to develop the reasoning and strength to find their way out as well...

This is so POWERFUL Chris! You really dug deep into your soul to do this podcast about what you endured as a Sea Org member in the RPF. I feel bad that you had to go through all of that, but I also want to congratulate you on your level of strength of heart to survive it as well as you obviously have. More power to you man, stay healthy and strong! =exscn=

I live in Hemet, about 5 miles from Gold Base. I have to drive past it everytime I head up to the freeway since the state highway winding mountain road bisects the property. Scientology has sent reps to town all meetings to try and get the road shut down but its a state highway so they can't. I have lost count of how many times I have seen the police surrounding the security guard shack. It's kinda scary. They have set up hidden cameras now disguised as brick pillars taking down license plates of cars as they drive by. I have had this verified by a few Law Enforcement Officers in town here.
@tim572434 жыл бұрын
I am not getting your point. Are you saying that there are often issues going on at Gold Base that lead to police being called in, or are you saying that publicly funded police are effectively being used as security guards there?
@Hiddenphanton174 жыл бұрын
@@tim57243 Scientology has their own security who are complete assholes. The police are frequently seen at Gold Base investigating claims. I have talked to the local police and the often get claims that people are bring held there against their will.

LRH paranoia have spread and have infected the whole scientology organization. It's not often you hear that a organization have a paranoid schizofrenia diagnosis. No medication will help here. Tear the shit down and set the people free.

@Anna Bell I'm thinking that Scientology doesn't care about the Civil rights of citizens. You are right, though; a person has to be informed that they are being photographed.

I was in the RPF in 79-80 and all I recall, besides the intense shame, was every day crawling into the air ducts of the newly acquired headquarters (the old Cedar-Sinai hospital) with a toothbrush to clean, for months on end. Don't recall any partnering or auditing or any real handling, just cleaning with a toothbrush. That was their mistake as it finally gave me time to ponder my circumstances and find the sanity buried deep inside and get out (blew).

I just figured out why they don't allow deaf people in the Sea Org! 01:18:45 "May not originate written or spoken communications to people outside the RPF" leaves a loophole allowing sign language!
@ellenorbjornsdottir11664 жыл бұрын
Sign language is speech.
@tim572434 жыл бұрын
I seem to recall that they regard illness as a spiritual failure. Deafness is an illness, so is that a better explanation? If they wanted deaf people and there were bad loopholes in the rules about it, they could either change the rules or define sign language to be speech as suggested by Ellenor.
@odelyalevy3 жыл бұрын
Deaf people have never a chance to get accepted to the sea org from the begin with. They wanted suckers that will run and work their hard off. You need to be extremely healthy to be in the sea org.
@pansprayers3 жыл бұрын
They don't allow the physically disabled in general, it's not specific to the deaf/hard of hearing community. The policy is literally to 'Make the able bodied more able'. Also, ASL is certainly language.

Wow I am always really amazed by your video's. You and other ex-members have been through so much stuff and although I cant possibly compare myself to you guys but I experienced work in a stressful environment since I left school at 14 and my father put me to work right away in a small company of a friend where a normal day was getting yelled at for 8 - 12 hours a day by his sons and him, feeling like it was my fault while in retrospect I was 14 years old, had no experience didn't get a lot of help learning skills and on top of that every thing we had was broken or going to break. It took me about 6 years to leave and no other workplace has ever been so crazy and negative. But at the time it was never on my mind to leave, just to trying to do right so nobody would yell or blame me wich would never happen because the people had problems with themselves and I was just easy picking on (looking back). Because of this bootcamp I did learn a lot of skills and got handy in solving problems and repairing things with whatever is at hand so it wasn't all for nothing. A lot of people say that just idiots fall for scientology but I can understand this very well, like Chris says they put you on a guilt trip and these people above you are letting out their frustration on newcomers in a toxic cycle, combined with high workload and overtime you can't look at your situation rationally anymore. LRH used a combination of things that put people in this state and made a policy for every thing that would make you doubt. Also like in secret societies you climb in ranks and mysterious are said to be revealed but he put a price tag on them instead of just intensive study or practice of esoteric workings and makes illumination available for those with the money. If they would present themselves as a self help group and focus on the low level courses and not have all this BS and extreme behaviour they would have surely lasted longer. I think now it's impossible for them to get new members and keep the old ones and any viable courses they had will be lost because of the crazy stuff surrounding their name. Anyway long story short, keep on trucking Chris and friends I hope soon we see their grip on their members released and Mr. Miscavidge gets his day in court to explain himself together with Cruise and Travolta since they promote this and must know what's going on behind closed doors.

I'm listening to these questions that y'all were asked and realising that I have been through this process. The only difference for me was that instead of hooking me up to an e-meter, the woman doing the reading used something called applied kinesiology to "read my electrical field". She did this as a means of determining what herbal supplements I needed to buy from her in order to cure my migraines. Surprisingly, it didn't work and it just cost me (or rather my mother since she paid for it) a lot of money.

My MIL buys into this BS, to the extent of 'muscle testing' food to see if it's gone bad. Because expiry dates are apparently a nonexistent thing in her brain. Not surprisingly (to me, her dietitian/chef DIL at least) she's constantly plagued with at least minor food poisoning, and gets mad that I refuse to eat at her house.

Honestly this sounds much worse than prison to me. One of my close friends is in federal prison for child pornography. While there are concentrated incidents of terror (race riots, cops killing people, etc) it seems like they do have at least some people they can partially relax around (like an us vs them with situation prisoners vs guards) and down-time, and they can communicate with the outside world even if it is partially censored (but he complains in letters and stuff and they let him send that out to me). I'm sure it sucks worse than I can possibly imagine but I don't think they're up in his business 100% like you're describing here, at all. As long as he keeps his head down and doesn't get into any fights or anything he'll get out eventually without necessarily actively sucking up and brainwashing himself. Based on this if I had to pick 10 years in one vs the other I would pick 10 years in fed for kiddie porn (without having to commit the actual kiddie porn part, of course) which is certainly saying something.
