Great Sermon. St. Bridget is a great Saint, one of the big 3 in Europe. I think every catholic should pray her prayers. They connect you with Jesus suffering

Sometimes I feel as though God is giving me the runaround about what He wants me to do. Jeremiah 17 and 20 are relevant to God's will conflicting with those of mortals as is the presentation of Christ in the Gospel of Luke as Simon was elderly and was promised that he would not die without seeing Christ. It is safe to assume that Simon died shortly after seeing Christ and that he was a child when he received God's promise.
