Thank you for making this video! I've been pondering grabbing the larger size to make hats and scarves myself as for some reason, I just have yet to get the hang of purling to do even some of the simpler patterns. So I've seen many people sharing a demo and review of this machine, but what I would really love to see is adding another skein of yarn to make the hat bigger, longer. How do you connect more yarn when a skein runs out. I know how I do it when I am hand knitting or crocheting but visualizing how you all do it with a circular knitting machine confuses me a bit. Thank you for the Demo Review. It makes me realize how fast and simple a machine like this is.
@BeatlesFanSonia4 жыл бұрын
I take the tube out of the machine and thread a circular needle on it and knit an inch or so of knit one, purl one ribbing and at the other end I use knitting needles to do a few decreases because I don’t really like the look of all the gathering at the top and add a Pom Pom! Have fun with your Sentro! Love your videos!

i almost bought this at 10:30 last night. decided to check some reviews first. watched your review again this morning and bought it. i had bought a similar one that was really poorly made. hoping this will work much better for the price. i have a bed knitting machine (3 actually) but they're standard size which to the rest of the world means yarn size 2 or 3 while in america it's more 4 or worsted. they'll knit worsted it just doesn't come out nice and flat. what i can't tell from the video if it comes out like needle knitting, flat not ribby looking.

Fill it tightly with that hobby filling stuff & sew down each end & use as a draught stopper. Or I'd sew a tube (an old pillowcase cut down & sewn to the right size would work) to go inside it, fill with dry sand or rice, put inside the knitted tube & you have an even better draught stopper for the bottom of your door :) I reckon you could put filling in it, but not too much, & sew a heap together side by side & you'd have a cozy, squishy, soft stripey blanket!!
