Absolutely love this knife...it completes me lol.when I deploy the clever,it has more of a battle axe feel in my hand,it make me feel like a viking,scares women n children and will make a grown man cry.fits Easley in my pocket along with my galaxy 23...no skinny jeans,loose fit.the only problem I have with it is that it sits deep in the pocket n makes it challenging to grip...if I had to make a suggestion I would put the pocket clip on the other end...not the other side,and mount so at least 3 quarters to n inch stick above the pocket...but still love it

Evening Grey. There you go again with a knife review....every time...I want, I want. 😁 There are many, many times I need a knife that doesn't have a pronounced point. That looks robust enough to split gamebirds as well as cutting off legs, wings, head. I do like that it folds up. Nice review. 👍

Grey, we bought two. Opened the first and cannot get it closed. There doesn’t seem to be the channel lock mechanism is there a trick we are missing?. The Obuy website is a mess. I had issues when I ordered now I can’t get back in. I’m afraid to open the second, lol.

Hey there, That seems very odd. They are a Linerlock. Which is engaged and disengaged via the linerlock inside the body of the knife. They can be a bit tight initially but I have never had an issue after a few weeks of use. If you still have issues I can do a video call with you and see what you are doing and maybe I can help resolve the issue. Please email me if that is an option for you guys.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how a titanium coated blade is supposed to be better than an all steel one.

So here is the research info I have found and why some manufacturers use a titanium coating. “Titanium coatings” are usually ultra-hard ceramics like titanium nitride applied in thin coatings over steel blades. Such add a harder, lower friction, more wear-resistant layer to the underlying steel, improving wear resistance. Hopefully, that helps answer your question, Les.
