Same issue and for those that says it’s batteries… it’s not. Only time I’ve noticed it being somewhat better is using it often. Is Sentry safe providing new pistons if you file a claim?

I actually two of these safes and they hydraulic cylinder is a serious flaw. I bout a pa ck of springs at the local hardware store and took out the cylinder and added another spring to the shaft.

I have two of them and this issue is a major problem especially if you want it to be reliable when you need it to work.

Hi Johnny I’m having same issue. What did you find out from the manufacturer?

Piston goes bad after a while. You can deal with the manufacturer or just go to Amazon and buy a new one for like 8 bucks.

Replace your batteries
