Beautiful UE5 game, 1:33 - Some motherboards manufacturers fix these unstable cpu issues (with recent intel cpu) by updating bios and you will have an added option in bios called "intel baseline profile"

Rough situation for Intel. Because by enabling the Baseline profile, you effectively make your CPU run MUCH slower than before. Intel pushed hard to try and compete with AMD and has failed. Not only have many of their flagship cpu been damaged, you are now forced to fun them much slower.

I dont think its necessarily solely gpu's to blame. We havent seen many UE5 games on release with great performance. Often the games release patches which improves performance in the future

I think he has an issue with his hardware. I'm on a 7900xtx playing this at native 4k with no frame gen and getting 80-100fps depending on game environment. I'm also using 100w of power more though.

@@BenchmarkBoy Water pools and drips/pours from wooden beams and it's affected by the wind, the wind also ripples the water on the smooth rocks. Make no mistake, i really dont like linear and movement limited games like this, as you can't even walk over to a river with a clear path to it without an invisible wall, but UE5 is pretty cool with details like that

the game is a heavy toll on my 4080. other games like plague tale 2 and starfield and cyberpunk run well, hellblade 2 does also run well, fps wise, but the gpu gets hot like nothing before. other games push it to 69° on 1300rpm fans. hellblade gets 82° on 1800rpm. somethings really strange with this game

frame gen really fcks with the image the less frames it has to work with the more frames you got native , the better frame gen will do its job

My xtx is currently running between 80-100fps at native 4k in this game. No upscaling or frame gen. I feel like there's an issue for the 4090 with this game...

@raspetsu And as far as the performance I get, I just set everything properly, disable everything that isn't needed like core isolation and most hardware acceleration. As well as change registry settings that hold hardware back and disable all possible forms of virtualization and anything that doesnt directly help gaming performance. I built my machine stictly for gaming so have every setting possible managed to do so. Been doing this since the 90s so have learned a thing or two over the years lol

Looking at your FPS I couild swear you're running a RTX 4080, that's about exactly the FPS I get on my 4080, paired with a 7800x3D

It depends. Give some ue5 games a couple of patches from release and often times the performance is improved quite a bit. We saw that with remnant 2 but then we also got the opposite with ark ascended, it still has bad performance.

Is something wrong with your spec? I have 80-100 fps in 4k DLSSQ without FG max out (not little above 60 fps like you) and I have Ryzen 9 7900X3D and RTX4090, DDR5 6000mhz. Also many other comparison on YT, shows more fps than in your PC. You have low fps in all graphic setting that you show, even in native 4k, you get little above 30 fps I have 15 fps more in this same scenario in native 4k.

My average for native is about 40-45 overall. Looks about right for a un-overclocked 4090. Got any links you're comparing it to? Doesn't sound right to me if you're getting 40-50 at native 4k then theres no way you're getting 100 fps with just dlss quality. Ive never seen an increase of 50 fps ever with only dlss quality

@@ttwinsturbo looks about right to me. You can see i get a bit of a bottleneck when using upscaling (my gpu usage drops). you dont get that with the 7800x3d. Native frames look about the same on average. Maybe a couple of fps difference on average. It also looks like a different gpu model to mine because of its power usage

On this video that I show you in similar scen this guy have 80 fps with drops to 75 fps with the same setting. (I have similar perf) Difference is to big for different 4090 model. I have no OC setting 4090 and like I said in this scene 80 fps not 60 fps. Is something wrong with yours fps on 4k DLSS quality and max.

I feel like they will be doing some optimization for the 4090 soon with this game. Im getting 80-100fps at the exact same 4k settings with no frame gen. But I am using 100w more power though.

100 fps at 4k native 100% render resolution? That doesn't sound right to me at all. You cant be at native 4k. 4k with FSR quality is about 70-85 on the xtx from what ive seen. Only time you're hitting 100 fps is with even lower upscaling than that

hotspot is the hottest sensor on the gpu die. Its always going to be higher than your actual gpu temp which is the average across the whole gpu. If you want to measure your gpu temp its better to take the gpu temp reading not the hotspot. As much as fps readings you would take the average fps not the max fps
