There is something about a thrown pot or bowl made by an artisan. It feels solid and permanent. Plus it is one of a kind. No other pot or bowl will look exactly the same because they are all made individually by hand. They may cost more up front but they look better and last longer than commercially made ones.

Glad to see you and Jacob are adjusting to life on the farm. Its beautiful, along with the animals. I'm so jealous that its on Maui and not on Oahu, where some of us might run into you and Jacob at a farmer's market, although I'm sure one day, one of my relatives will mention seeing you. Maui is great and it looks great for both of you. The food is always amazing and Jacob is a lucky fellow to have a great life partner and having every meal looking like a 5 star meal. Both dishes looked great and I wasn't familiar with name of the red fruit but it appears to be what we know of it as Dragon Fruit, which is either red or yellow. Enjoy Maui.
