Even though the airport is in Incheon, it is referred to around the world as Seoul-Incheon Airport, especially since it is the primary airport in the Seoul Metro area. Akin to New York-Newark Intl Airport (EWR). Any FLIGHT departure board at any intl. airport terminal will list ICN as 'Seoul-Incheon Airport'. Bottom Line, the video title listing this as Seoul Incheon Airport is correct and does NOT need to be changed.

High Pressure Aviation Films even vancouver airport is not in vancouver, but Richmond BC. Edmonton airport AB is also at a different city. There r a bunch of airports that r in rural areas but close to main cities. Main reason would be noise abatement and also safety issues.

Wow! Such memories of Incheon. I used to fly in/out Incheon more than 10 times when I worked in China. I would fly out of SFO to Seoul, then catch Air China commuter into Shenyang. But it was always either a 4 hour layover, or sometimes 8 hours-generally the next day. I always wanted to work in Seoul but was not able to find connection for work Visa. I was not really a fan of the Chinese government. But I did it because I needed a job. Preferred to work in a more democratic country. I loved Incheon because the people that worked in the terminal were awesome and always friendly. I would love to go back sometime and maybe work a year in Seoul. I think I would enjoy that greatly.

South Korea's international airport located in central Incheon. In March 2001, the airport took over the international functions of Gimpo International Airport and opened. It is the nation's largest airport built between Yeongjongdo and Yongyu islands, boasting an unparalleled scale in terms of service routes and number of passengers. In addition, the world's Top 100 international airport ranking, evaluated by Skytrax, an airline industry evaluation company, is competing for the highest level (1-3rd) every year [6] and the International Airport Service Assessment (ASQ), organized by the International Airport Council (ACI), has been selected as the world's best quality of service for 12 years in a row [7]. Starting with the construction of boarding houses in 2008, the airport is expanding its facilities, and the second passenger terminal opened in 2018. There are two terminals, with the first and second terminals in operation. The second terminal is used by Korean Air and some SkyTeam airlines [8], the first terminal is used by Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance, Oneworld and nonaligned airlines [9], and the boarding gate is used by SkyTeam airlines not handled by LCC and Terminal 2.[10] Almost all South Korean flag carriers use it as a hub[11] and other U.S. cargo carriers Paula Air Cargo and Delta Air Lines use it as a hub. The airport defense mission will be headed by the South Korean Army's 17th Infantry Division and the South Korean Navy's Incheon Sea Defense Command. So, if you go to Incheon International Airport, you can see a soldier with a live-fire gun belonging to the 3rd Security Division of the 17th Infantry Division standing guard. This is because it is aimed at preventing terrorism, and because it is so close to the NLL and the border, and traffic is also high, it could be a major target for North Korea. It is a place of great military importance, enough for the Army, Navy and Marine Corps to stand guard at the same time. The Incheon Maritime Defense Command will be provided by the high-speed Jeongjeon Unit to defend the coastlines of Yeongjongdo and Yongyu Island, while the Second Marine Division will provide a rapid response unit. In other words, the Army, Marine Corps, and Airport Police are all ground forces. The air defense mission is equipped with a radar base located on Yeongjong Island and an air defense battery on and off guard around Incheon International Airport around the clock. Unlike foreign VIPs who can use Seoul Airport, North Korea-related VIPs visit the South via air route, they can use Incheon International Airport to get in and out of the country. Because Kimpo International Airport and Seoul Airport are national security facilities, they cannot enter North Korea, which is an anti-state organization under the Constitution, out of fear of leaking information.

Incheon......Greatest airport of our country Korea, and Asia indeed. Anyway, It was quite good to see the airview near ICN and the way traffics approching ICN, and all the procedures. Moreover, after the plane landed at Incheon,I have known that pilot contacts with Ground ATC and got informed about gate, I didn't know exactly how it finds and goes to gate in Incheon. But follow-me car and the LCD pannel that shows when to stop at the gate......So interesting.
