That Graph Ultralite is my favorite thing you make, and you make a lot of cool stuff. What I would ask is that you always have a black option. The colors are fine and all but black for a base layer or a as a T-shirt after riding goes with everything.

I own the Wreckless 80 and 10. Pinner ool roll. Jerseys. Wildcat with chest rig. 2021 Basilisk pant. The thing I so wish would be for there to be pockets/sleeves in the Basilisk jacket to add armor when on long trips, and take it out and wear separate armor for doing BDR'.s Instead I use KLIM Badlands as I can take their C2 armor out and wear separate armor when needed. But it's still heavy. Just need waterproof Event minimalist like the Basilisk jacket. Oh, and go back to neutral colors, and not the clown patchwork style that Klim has been famous for, and this years jackets have done. By that's just my humble opinion. Great gear Mosko, you've made my wallet lighter. Keep it up!

@@MoskoMoto I would echo on the colors, I just can't do the orange and seems like the past while it's either black or full-scream orange for all of your clothing 😭 Not staying it should all be grey/black, but if you're looking for inspiration, companies like Arcteryx seem to do a great job with color selection -> interesting yet more subdued and not yelling out.

Getting into multiple hobbies such as mountain biking, off road motor biking, and snowboarding, I am wondering whether I can use some gear for multiple purposes. It seems motor biking gear is built to a high standard so it could double up as some short term snow gear. Even some of the light motorbike gear can be use for MTB and the more heavy MTB gear can be used as light motor biking gear. Has anyone run into this problem 😂, I would like to save some money and not acquire to much gear.

I'm sold on the idea, I like layering up and will be buying some touring gear soon. The one thing I'm stuck on is the knee armor; I have a soft armor suit that I wear over a base layer so it's easy and non-intrusive to take off at a stop. Knee armor is uncomfortable and not easy to get off (since it's under the pants) so I prefer to have it built into the pants, knowing it is not as protective. Having knee pockets on the Basilisk pants would make me buy them in a second, but until then I'm playing with the idea of getting different pants or knee armor to strike the right balance.

Hey Matt! We hear ya. We strongly believe in and advocate for the use of separate armor because of its superior protection and layering ability - that being said, we know it's not for everyone! We're working on our own armor + integrated armor apparel. Stay tuned!

I'm excited to see what Mosko Moto comes up with for slip on armor. I've tried a bunch of options and none really work well. They all slide out of place over time or the velcro wears out or peels back and gets stuck on the inner liners of other gear. I really haven't been impressed and keep thinking there has to be a better setup.

Hi Pete! I'm looking for a pant to go with my basilisk jacket, but as a powerlifter I have big thighs and usually need 36-38 pants just to get them on. I'm also not a fan over external rain gear (especially for legs) but no waterproof pant has stretch. Do you think the Basilisk pant or woodsman OTB + rain pants would be best for someone who needs stretch and ability to move without being restricted? Many thanks!
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto Жыл бұрын
Hey Johannes, the Basilisk pant does not have stretch, but is waterproof. Our Woodsman pant has great stretch and are very comfortable/durable, but are not waterproof. Best bet is to try both on and see what fits you most comfortably. That's priority number one!

great vid! It certainly helps understand the products better holistically with these explanations vids. Q: I think Pete was going from outer to inner layer in that order. At which point is he suggesting the various armour pieces get worn- below the base layer? Above the mid layer? Also, I wear knee braces (Pods) for every ride so under/over which layer would you suggest I wear these?
@MoskoMoto

Would love to know if you and your team are wearing the Alpinestars Tech Air Off Road? and if this has changed your design and layering thoughts? I recently purchased it and have had to replace a number of my layers as there was insufficient room under the jackets for the airbag to inflate, likewise with my warming layers (puffy). Thermals obviously still work. Stay well. Cheers Scott. FYI, the Tech air off road saved my mate 7 days after we got it. He sent his bike off the edge of an extremely steep bush embankment. He was black and blue all over, except where the airbag vest was…. So good

We haven't had a chance to try out any of the newer airbags. The latest airbag technology does seem promising and it's something we'll keep in mind for future apparel design.

Thoughts on shoulder armor? Feels like shoulders are likely the main thing that'll take a hit if you go down, but for some reason yourself and a lot of moto guys seem to go for the chest/back protector without the shoulders. Any reason for that? I have one of those Leatt 4.5 chest plates with removable shoulders and tbh I never wear the shoulder because they're awkward/bulky and make jerseys and jackets fit so weird.
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto 2 ай бұрын
We think you nailed it on the head! Some people find them awkward and uncomfortable but some don't. One thing we like about separate armor is that you can wear as much or as little armor as your feel comfortable with.
