Quick check of google and law firms within a 100 mile radius proves that employment lawyers are few and far in between. we don't all live in the big schitty. why are they so damn scarce?

Bc in most states ur an “At will” employee and it’s really hard to actually win those cases ( cases: like ur employer is mean and is making ur life miserable so you can purposely leave or they didn’t give u a promotion that you were entitled to and gave it to someone else that benefits the employer) if you don’t have physical evidence not he/she said that’s really hard to prove . They’re many employment lawyers for union workers if they wrongfully terminated or and the easiest cases are the discrimination ones so u find lawyers easily for that. Check with ur state see if ur state regards employees as “At will” and look at ur contract when you first started ur position if u were given one and check if ur state also states if an employees’ contract terms when getting hired supersedes state employment laws and if it does u go by the contract u signed when hired or promoted. I’m not a lawyer just someone that had a lot of stupid stuff happen to them so I kno a thing or 2. Also, to make any case you have to complain to HR if you don’t then u can’t make a case in any circumstance or w.e. Type of employee u are A complaint has to be made by you or ur boss about you to HR. Once that is made then you can maybe start a case ( but most likely won’t get through) .
