Who would win in a canonical fight between Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, and Bill Cipher, the dream demon of Gravity Falls? Today we break down both of their abilities and have an animated battle to figure out that answer. Ford's quantum destabilizer isn't just your typical laser gun, It was created with stuff made to specifically destroy Bill, which is the reason why it only took a small burst to damage him. And considering how powerful of a being Bill is, a simple star explosion wouldn't be enough to kill him, not to mention he's immortal.

Considering that Bill Cipher obliterated the time baby (who literally drinks universes as milk) with just a lift of a finger the same could be said for Sephiroth he's only ever been planetary even Supernova isn't as powerful as people think since it's an illusion and doesn't kill while also being a solar system level attack that comes from a different dimension Bill would easily dodge that and hell he wouldn't even be phased by that

I just now realized that while Bill was fending off the Supernova the planet got evaporated. I don't know if this was the intention but that might have annihilated the Weirdmaggedon portal cutting Bill off from the Nightmare Realm. Now I'm not sure if you can "blow up a portal" but that might've been a really cool detail if it was.

That's universal - frankly I know next to nothing about Sephiroth so I don't know who'd really win, but a supernova wouldn't cut it- especially since I doubt supernovas can harm spirits, while it could destroy Bill's physical form, a supernova wouldn't harm his spirit. And through statement, Bill should be multiversal+, as Alex Hirsch said he "stood higher" than the Nightmare Realm which he called a multiverse. Though I'm not sure what he meant by "stood higher", if he meant it in a litteral way then Bill should be multiversal+, but if he just meant Bill ruled over it then I don't think that alone makes him Multiversal.

Okay- this raises so many red flags. Sephiroth is Solar System at best while Bill Cipher, at worst, is universal. Not to mention that Bill is monumentally faster than Sephiroth.

In FF7 Remake, Sephiroth is able to write new timelines just by slicing his sword at the end of the game (Zack surviving the battle that should have killed him and bring back Biggs from the dead) and FF7 Rebirth is able learning what Sephiroth did that altered the normal timeline. Bill is hurt by things that realistically shouldn’t hurt him. If you want to upscale Sephiroth then in Final Fantasy Dissidia and Dissidia 012, Sephiroth is able to hurt Shinyru who ate a crystal core which has the power to destroy the Final Fantasy multiverse and it’s infinite dimensions and is superior to Exdeath and Euno both of being able to move in The Void giving them and Sephiroth immeasurable speed.

As for your scaling, everyone playable in those games are capable of hurting him, so that’s some seriously questionable scaling. Especially since trying to win 1 on 1? Forget it- not gonna happen. Not to mention it would make every playable character in the Dissida games multiversal, which is stupid scaling. Even if that were all true, that wouldn’t matter. A single dimension in the Gravity Falls has an infinite number of universes and multiverses, yet Bill just destroyed the entire second dimension. Bill is literally as high as he can be on the multiversal scale without crossing into hyperversal territory. Not to mention that he just shrugs off a lot of the so called “things” that hurt him. He legit couldn’t die by physical means in the show.

You majority downplayed bills speed here. Due to him having complete control of time, which would make him infinite in speed. However assuming that hes powers work exactly like time babies, than he should be of immeasurable speed due to time travel abilities. So he should easily be able to dodge sephorath's final attack. Also due to his complete control over space and matter, he could simply get bigger, or phase through the nova. He could literally become 10 times bigger than the explosion. And this is all without stating that time baby said that due to him tearing a rip in space time, he literally could destroy existence which Is a reference to the multiverse. 9:32 Fucking called me out. Alright finished the rest. While the conclusion is, in my opinion, pretty flawed, I still enjoyed the ride. Bill wasn't mentioned as a being of pure energy nor the fact that he's only been beaten by being trapped in a place he willingly went. He's been classified cannonically as a universal threat in the least and immortal, so dying to an attack that was pre-established to be an illusion in a pocket dimension, even though he would've been fine after it and then left said pocket, falls flat. Regardless, the humor, voice work, animation, writing, and references were all top notch.
