I'm usually just a silent watcher here, but I wanted to say that I thought you were spot on to not follow-up like you did after the other person had not been able to communicate properly. It was such a gracious way to tell a person that you guys have different communication styles, and value your time in different ways. Good for you, girl! That’s exactly what you should do if someone isn’t compatible with you. I’m practicing the same thing of giving people grace, but also knowing what I need in a relationship and not ignoring red flags.

I had a situationship fresh out of college where I dealt with the same thing - not great at communicating consistently (he did work nights, but it was more than that), lack of follow-through, refusal to commit to anything when it came to seeing each other...it sucked, and I put up with it for way too long. Anyways, point being good for you for knowing that it wasn't your vibe! As a fellow planner, trying to have a relationship with someone like that was honestly impossible. The guy I'm now marrying was super communicative right off the bat, planned things with me, and follow through with those plans.

I really like your vlogs and how we just get snippets. It is more authentic in that you capture somethings here and there, but otherwise are present in your day as you said. It is the perfect amount of sharing. I am not a vlog person in general, but your style is one I enjoy watching. I love the music too. 🙂

I’m older(old enough to be your mom, 52 in May)- if you have to always “be the one” ie; reaching out, coordinating plans, texts/phone calls, etc. if it’s that vague w/the efforts(or lack there of), but yet taking up too much of your precious time and you haven’t even had the first date-NOPE! I’m out, gone, ciao, sayonara, goodbye and good luck! But I think b/c I’ve already been married, and subsequently divorced, raised kiddos, and looking to retirement within the next 10-12 years, I have no patience for BS. If he’s not pursuing me, it’s not happening. I will never and have never chased a man, and you don’t need to either Kelly. When the time is right & it’s the right person, it should flow naturally and without giving you pause as to whether or not to invest your valuable energy into it. Now, that’s not to be confused with the woman doing the pursuing-if that’s what floats her boat more power to her. I’m not of the antiquated idea that the man has to be the one to ask for a date first, that’s fine too. It’s just not what I’m willing to do. But hey, different strokes for different folks lol!! I absolutely loved 🥰 this kind of “Day in the life of.....” kind of video, more plz 💄💋👏🏻❤️💄💋👏🏻❤️

I had a similar situation with a guy from back home. I moved slightly over an hour from home for school. I get DMd from a guy I went to HS with that he wanted to go on a date I agreed but told him to wait for my spring break. Got back home tell him I’m in town tells me he’s sick yet he’s posting he’s out with friends 🙄 I leave town and he sends me a message at 2 am on the weekend if I wanted to meet up at 1 pm that day I told him too late and honestly I wasn’t interested at first but was willing to give a chance, but with him possibly lying and deciding last minute I was like yeah no thanks

Good for you for not settling with someone who isn’t what you are looking for! You made the right call. To take my nails off, I slide my nail under the side of it and kind of pop it off. After a week or so, they pop off easily this way with little to no damage on my real nail. Maybe not the best way but it works for me because it’s quick and minimal effort.

I feel you on that iffy first impression with that guy. I've been with my partner 4 years and it's actually a small miracle that we got together. His response times were so tragic it took us a YEAR to actually go out, and we didn't see each other for another 3 months after that. He's still really bad at responding, but now I know it's just a part of his character flaws that he's working on and in our early days I really understand now why he was so slow to respond

I love Static Nails! Their nail polish is the best! I would recommend their brush on nail glue too, it is the best I’ve tried. Sounds similar to Glamnetic’s 😊 they also have their own nail remover oil that works amazing.

That date fail reminds me of my ex... I ended our relationship (of two years) because, on top of of generally feeling like he'd lost all care for me as a human, he booked a flight to the other side of the country the morning of my final vocal recital (for my degree). He never checked the date. And he expected me to forgive him. Listen... I give a lot of grace, but not that much. We're worth more than that! Good on you for standing up for yourself.

If u haven't already, u may wanna read the package closely because I've noticed that alot of the nails I've tried have recommended that u don't wear the nails longer than 7 days. I usually can't get them to stay on longer than that but I just wanted to tell u that in case it could cause an issue.

Hey Kelly! You inspired me to get into press ons! I bought the glamnetic angel style, i dont know if you or anyone else can answer, but im wondering if they were too long or i didnt have enough glue but after 24 hours they all essentially had either popped off and a part tore/ripped off. Do you find that happens with longer press on? I did not file them down really, just shaped them a bit for my nails! Thanks for the tutorial, would love to see more vlogs :)

Any tips on how to remove the leftover nail glue after you remove a set? I used a little buffer block but result wasn’t awesome. Do you use that little tool for that on your real nails or just to remove the glue from the press ons?

Your "date" sounds like a guy I briefly dated a couple years ago. He was always canceling and rescheduling dates. We ended up going on two. The last straw was him canceling while I was in the middle of getting ready to go on another date. I was already dressed and had half my makeup on. Since i don't like to waste a good outfit and makeup look, I took a friend's suggestion of going to a Mexican restaurant I'd heard about. Went there and did a little retail therapy after.
