I saw this game Live..... and the drama..pace.... close score...... then Weatherspoon half court buzzer beater for the win..... never really follower WNBA ,,,,but that had me jumping up and down all over the living room ....Legend!!!!!

No lie I Remember this I was 12 NY sports was so good - Knicks in the finals 2000 nets too - Yankees Mets in the World Series in 2000 Gretzky on the rangers and then this - man this one moment was as good as any in the 1999-2000 era .. too bad Lobo was hurt so much

Sad to see how Swoopes and Weatherspoon regressed after this moment. In retirement, they both focused on hatred toward a young superstar and tarnished their own reputations forever. Weatherspoon did that remarkable shot back in the day but then threw her fortunes behind promoting a player that can't hit a layup. Sad end
