I've read the dark half and i was pleasantly surprised! It has to do with an author (Thad) writing books under his own name and under a pseudonym and one day that other part of him becomes 'real' and starts killing people. But all the fingerprints and stuff point to Thad but he obviously didn't kill anyone and so the story begins ... Maybe you'd want to know (I didn't know this before reading the dark half) that this book, the dead zone and needful things are somewhat connected. I believe the order in which to read them to not miss any details or references are 1) the dead zone 2)the dark half 3) needful things

I see you've gotten a few comments about an Enchantment of Ravens already, but... yeah. I recommend tempering your hopes a little bit, because based on your initial hopes I -think- you will be disappointed if you don't 😬 That said, I did actually like the book! There were aspects of it which were very YA typical and I didn't really enjoy the romance, but I still had a good time reading it. I very much enjoyed Rogersons vision of the fae world, it made me sort of nostalgic to how my imagination used to be, if that makes sense? Lol. - There were just so many beautiful little details that, to me, made it worth reading. I liked the parts about painting too, and I quite liked some of the characters - I think you might like the youngers siblings of the main character in particular 😁 All in all, I don't think it was shit like some of the other commenters, but it's also not great. For me personally though, it was still well worth the read.

An Enchantment of Ravens was an interesting book, buuuut i already know you're not gonna enjoy it much. Its not plot focused, at all, its heavily character focus, but that book leaves you with more questions than you had starting off, which REALLY turned me off after i read it. The only thing i found outstanding of that book was the portrayal of the fey, it was very new and different, but at the same time, when most people think of fey, you think of THAT. But most authors have a problem of humanizing fey, for some reason, so that will probably be fun for you to read. And the Wrinkle of Time is going to be a fun ride for you. The movie is really good too, so go watch it after you read the book, so i can't wait for your review on that.
